A week after the football world was shocked by the murder-suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Javon Belcher, another tragedy involving an NFL player has people scratching their heads. Early Saturday morning, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jerry Brown was killed when the car he was riding in (and driven by teammate Josh Brent) struck a curb and crashed near State Highway 114 and Loop 12 in Irving, Texas.
Last week we posted on the unfortunate one-car accident that killed a Tupelo woman in Monroe County. According to investigators' preliminary reports, the car apparently lost control, broke through the center median and overturned before coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Highway 45.
